AB 400 is a highly alloyed composite wear plate with excellent performance against severe abrasive wear at elevated temperatures (>600 °C).
Our fully automated production method and our quality control procedures secure a product with homogenous chemical analysis and hardness.
The chromium rich microstructure with the addition of complex carbides (Mo, V, W, Nb) provides a material suitable to maintain wear resistant performance and hardness at elevated temperatures.
Suitable for components in the steel industry, power generation and for applications such as hot gas fans and fan housings, screens, cement furnace parts, sinter plant components and separators as well as blast furnace hoppers and liners that are exposed to elevated temperatures.
This material is also available as welding stick electrode (ABRA 400)
